Merive — lightweight AI image and video creation

1. Introduction

This privacy statement explains how the Merive application processes user data and protects privacy in all usage scenarios. Merive is a lightweight AI image and video creation app that requires no account registration, no login, and no personal identity binding. Users can access core creative functions after installation without submitting personal information. We prioritize privacy as a core design principle; all operations follow minimal data use and zero sensitive data collection.

2. Independent Self-Developed Service Operation

All core image fusion and video generation in Merive are supported by our independently developed internal service system. The creative process—including image parsing, scene matching, portrait fusion, and short video rendering—relies solely on our self-built technical framework.

This application does not invoke, access, or rely on any third-party services, third-party APIs, third-party algorithm libraries, or external data processing platforms in any link. There is no third-party participation in data processing, operation calculation, or content generation. All user operations and content data are processed only in our exclusive service environment.

3. User Data Collection Rules

Merive adheres to a strict zero-sensitive-data-collection rule. The only data temporarily processed is:

Creative materials are used only for the real-time execution of the current operation and are not automatically stored, backed up, or synchronized to remote servers after completion.

The application does not collect, capture, identify, analyze, or store any user facial information, facial feature data, facial biometric information, or any face-related unique characteristic data. Our AI fusion technology performs picture layer fusion and frame rendering based on overall pixel information only. It does not involve facial recognition, facial feature extraction, facial comparison, or facial information analysis.

We will never obtain facial data from user photos, mark or archive facial features, or retain facial information traces after creation. During upload, fusion, or preview, the app has no functional logic or data channel for collecting facial information. Facial content in photos exists only locally for the user’s personal creation.

In addition, Merive does not collect device information, network information, location, browsing records, usage logs, contact details, or other personal private data. There are no background data collection functions; all operations are user-controlled.

4. Zero Third-Party Information Sharing Commitment

We maintain a zero-sharing mechanism for all user-related data. Merive will never share, transmit, sell, lease, or authorize any third party to obtain any user personal information, creative materials, or operation data in any form or for any reason.

There is no data sharing interface or transmission channel in the app. Creative content and local operation data remain on the user’s device only. We do not actively acquire or transmit user data externally. This zero-sharing rule applies permanently to all scenarios and user groups.

5. Local Data Processing and Storage

Data processing is completed on the user’s local device and in our exclusive independent service environment without unnecessary external interaction. Uploaded pictures and generated videos are stored locally on the phone by default. Users may delete, retain, or share works as they choose.

We do not provide remote cloud storage, do not automatically sync creative content to cloud servers, and do not conduct secondary screening or commercial use of user materials. After the user closes the app or clears cache, temporary creation data is cleared with no residual data in our service system.

6. User Privacy Security Protection

We maintain privacy protection across internal service links and local operation links. The independent service system reduces leakage risks from third-party calls. Local processing helps prevent unauthorized access or transmission. Zero facial information collection reduces biometric data risk.

We focus on stable, safe AI image and video creation and do not carry out irrelevant data collection or utilization, protecting user privacy and data autonomy.
