Merive — usage rules and privacy specifications
1. Introduction
These User Terms of Service are the unified usage specification for all users of Merive. By downloading, installing, and using this application, you confirm that you understand and voluntarily accept all rules and privacy specifications stated here.
Merive is a zero-login, zero-registration lightweight AI creative tool. Users may use core image fusion and video generation after installation without registering, binding identity, or logging in through third-party channels. Usage corresponds to operation on your local device.
2. Service Scope and Description
Merive provides one-click AI portrait and scene image fusion and short video generation. Users upload portrait and scene images through local device authorization; the app completes synthesis and rendering internally.
All core services are independently developed, operated, and maintained by our team. The service process does not rely on external third-party platforms, third-party algorithms, or third-party data processing for core generation.
Services are for personal, non-commercial creative use. Users must comply with applicable law and public order; illegal, vulgar, infringing, or non-compliant content is prohibited.
3. User Usage Specifications
Users may independently operate app functions, including uploading images, previewing fusion, generating clips, saving works, and deleting content. Operation rights belong to the user; we do not restrict normal personal creative use.
Users must ensure uploaded images and created content are lawful and assume full responsibility for content they generate.

4. Strict Facial Information Protection
We apply strict rules for portrait materials uploaded during creation.
Merive does not collect, identify, extract, analyze, or store any user facial information, facial feature data, facial contour parameters, facial biometric characteristics, or any face-related unique personal data in any form.
Our fusion and video technology performs overall pixel layer fusion and frame rendering only. It has no facial recognition function, does not capture feature points, does not analyze facial attributes, and does not generate facial data files for storage or backup.
No facial information is retained, cached, or recorded during or after creation. Facial content in uploads exists only temporarily on your device for preview and production. The product has no facial data collection logic or acquisition channel at any level.
5. Independent Service Operation
Functional calculation, image processing, and video rendering use our exclusive self-developed service system. The app does not access third-party service interfaces for core generation, does not call third-party algorithm libraries for your content, and does not transmit creative data to external third-party platforms. Processing is a closed loop between our services and your device.
6. User Content and Data Rights
Original uploads and final works belong exclusively to the user. We do not obtain ownership, usage rights, or derivative rights over your content. We do not save, sync, or use your works for commercial or non-commercial purposes without your action.
Creative content is stored locally on your device unless you choose to share it. Temporary data from a session may be cleared when you close the app or clear cache; we do not retain operation traces in the background without necessity.
7. Zero Third-Party Information Sharing
We adhere to an absolute zero-sharing principle for user-related data.
Merive will never share, transmit, sell, lease, or authorize any third party to obtain your personal information, uploaded materials, creative works, or operation records. There is no data sharing interface or external transmission channel; private data will not flow to third parties in any scenario covered by this policy.
8. User Responsibilities
Users must comply with applicable norms, take responsibility for creative content and conduct, and ensure materials do not involve copyright infringement, portrait-right infringement, illegal content, or other violations.
We are not liable for legal consequences arising from a user’s non-compliant operations or unauthorized use.
